When it comes to your closet, are you organized or messy ?

Unfortunately, I don’t have a proper dressing room, so my clothes and accessories are stored all over my apartment. I have several shelves for my scarves, jewelry and lingerie, my bags and shoes are kept in dedicated spaces, and I have a big closet for all my clothes. I try to keep them organized by season and type of clothes, but usually I am the only one who can find my way around it !

What is the closet of your dreams ?

My absolute favorite would be Carrie Bradshaw’s in Sex and the City (the movie, not the series). Huge and bright, it would be perfect to store and visualize immediately all the clothes (and it would save me tons of time in the morning !).
I would love to take a peak at Miroslava Duma’s wardrobe (she is believed to have one of the most beautiful closets in the world !), and I am a huge fan of Emmanuelle Alt, Olivia Palermo and the stylist Caroline Sieber.

What happens to the clothes you don’t wear anymore ?

For a very long time, I didn’t sell anything. When I finally decided it was silly to keep everything, I first started with second hand shops, but their commission fees were way too high. Recently, I started online sale, and I coulnd’t be more delighted about it.

Describe your style and the creators you like

I would say my style is classic with a twist. As for fashion designers and creators, I love Chanel of course, because it is very classic and chic, but you can wear it the way you want to : rock chic, elegant, even grungy ! Phoebe Philo for Céline is a genius, and I also love Hedi Slimane for Saint Laurent, Isabel Marant, Givenchy, Alexander Wang, Acne, Damir Doma, Sacai… As for more affordable brands (where I shop most of the time), Zara, &otherstories and Cos make the best basics !

What are the trends you’ll adopt this season ?

Last Fashion Week, I loved the knee length soft sweaters, à la Céline or Stella McCartney. You can wear them as seen on the runway, with matching cashmere pants, or with leather pants or jeans for a more ‘real-life’ look. Oversized coats are once again big this season, and you won’t be able to avoid the cowboy trend this Fall since Chanel put it on the runway with the Paris Dallas collection. I incidentally just bought a fringed leather jacket that will be perfect for September !
