I love leopard print as this is probably the only print I wear (along with python !). But usually, I like it best when it is an accessory, like a bag, shoes, or my ultimate favorite, a scarf.

Because the thing with leopard, is that there is no happy medium… You either look like the chicest women in the room, or an awful caricature.

Small touches are generally enough to ensure you look super stylish, without risking a big fashion faux-pas. But from time to time, I get bored of my classic wardrobe, and I am drawn to bolder pieces, such as a statement coat, or in this case, this Oasis leopard dress.

When I first saw it, I knew I wanted to wear it right away, because this is the perfect print : fashionable but very discreet, it screams more Carine Roitfeld (I have a thing for her lately, don’t I ?) than Paris Hilton ! It’s quite light, so I’ll definitely wear it this summer with cute flat sandals and a straw hat, but for the moment, I absolutely wanted to wear it with my Acne leather jacket and chic booties from Louboutin. Because as you know by now, I love nothing more than associating different styles : chic and casual, effortless and edgy.

The rock accessories make sure my look is appropriate for the day, but I wouldn’t hesitate to go glam all the way for a night out, with pointy pumps, a chic masculine coat and a clutch.

I shot these pictures outside Le Palais de Tokyo, with many people looking at me and wondering what the h¨¨¨ I was doing. After all, I think I’d be pretty curious too if I saw a blonde monopolizing the stairs to take photos in a leopard attire ! But as I told you yesterday, anything for a pic, right ? I have to admit I was quite embarrassed, as I hate when people’s attention is all on me. But I guess I’m on the learning curve, as I don’t look as uncomfortable (on most of the pics anyway) as I used to !

J'aime beaucoup!

  4. I love the combination of tough leather jacket and light dress, and the booties are to die for! Leopard print can certainly be on the opposite side of the spectrum; I have this Italian super glamorous leopard print coat which some of my friends love and love to stroke it, and some call it "the hooker coat". A boy on a bus shouted "tiger tiger" when he saw me...I guess animal print stirs emotions is everyone :)

  5. Oh, I love leopard, too! Even though you have to be really careful with it - to not look like going to a costume party. Your outfit looks gorgeous - as usual.

So true, so true! I always try to get up as soon as possible to take pictures as I hate it when people look. When they stare I just pretend being a tourist :) But still... It's strange.

  7. Leopard is a print I need to get more comfortable wearing! I love little touches here and there, but have been dreaming about an all-out bold ensemble like this one. You look incredible! And I feel the same way about outfit pictures. They can be so embarrassing to take, but so worth it in the end.
