The rules of denim have completely changed. Ever since Vêtements and Marques' Almeida came into the fashion scene, nothing has been the same, and now, the more distressed, frayed, hemmed, the better.

And I'm not only talking about jeans, but how many denim jackets, coats, shirts have invaded the catwalks lately ? I feel like new silhouettes are coming, and it's time to revisit what we knew about fashion.

Take this look : it's a mix of different trends I love lately, and it's an outfit I had never tried before. Denim on denim, check, frayed sleeveless jacket, check, distressed jeans, check, off shoulder top, check, extravagant sleeves, check, ladylike accessories, check. Too many trends at once ? Probably, but as I told you yesterday, I really want to try things outside my comfort zone.

First, I had a crush on this Gauchère jacket : I knew I wanted it the moment I saw it. Very 'grungy', yet sophisticated : 2016 summed up in one accessory. But I didn't know what to pair it with. So I want for my old good pair of Levi's 501, that never disappoints me. I also picked an Iris & Ink top from The Outnet, as its color looked so good with denim.

As for the accessories, I figured that as this look needed some femininity, and I went for my cute new mid heels from Zara, a Chanel brooch, and an Olympia LeTan clutch.

What do you think of the outfit ? Would you wear it yourself ? And do you agree that fashion is changing at the moment ?

---------------
