My sister's wedding dress is a Self Portrait (ma soeur portait une robe de chez Self Portrait)

Aaaah Cannes... Its film festival, palm trees, luxury shops, and beautiful girls are truly mythical. But for me, it's a little bit more than that : I've been going here every summer since I was a little girl, so it's truly a place close to my heart.

And could you think of a better occasion to spend the weekend here, other than celebrating your sister's wedding ?

Julie, who's three years younger than me, had decided to get married in Cannes, as she loves this city as well (the religious wedding will be in July in Burgundy). So of course I decided to make the most of the three days I got off from work, and enjoyed the sunny weather to its fullest, especially as Paris was literally under water.

My boyfriend and I took the plane on Thursday (after almost missing it, as the strikes are still going strong...), and we managed to go shopping, stay at the JW Marriott, play at the casino, dance at Bâoli, spend an afternoon at the beach, and, of course, attend the wedding, all of that in three short days. I desperately needed a weekend like this, and I feel so full of energy again !

And seeing my sister getting married was so emotional : she's like my best friend, we've been through everything together (and I found her wedding dress, which is from Self Portrait), so I couldn't help but cry a little bit when she said 'yes'.

I wanted to show you some pictures from the actual wedding, as we didn't have the time to take so many pics of my outfit. I hope you guys like it, as it's a change from my usual posts !
