For a very long time, I hated denim… As weird as it sounds, I didn’t own any jeans until I was in my early twenties. Even though I now couldn’t possibly imagine getting dressed every morning without my jeans being the main element of almost all my looks, there was a time where I only wore dresses and skirts. So don’t even mention a denim jacket ! I used to hate them, always wearing a black blazer or leather jacket instead.

And until recently, despite my new found love for denim, I didn’t have any jeans jacket. Why, you may ask ? I always wondered, because it’s not like I didn’t appreciate their 'effortlessness' and ‘casualness' on other girls. But on me, it just didn’t go, I hadn’t found ‘the one’ yet.

And for this first collection, I figured that if I couldn’t find the one denim jacket that would fit my style, I had to design it ! So I did :) This jacket is slightly oversized, but very ‘Parisienne’, of course. And I swear, now I have this jacket, I can’t not wear it… I guess it’s one of those cases where you need to try the piece before you like it, but once you do, it’s a match made in heaven.

I paired it with a cool white playsuit bought on Revolve, just perfect for summer, black sandals (on sale !), and my mother’s Saint Laurent Betty bag, that I have yet to return… (sorry Mom !).

We shot this look in front of Les Invalides, one of my favorite Parisian monuments, especially as I lived nearby a couple of years ago. As we passed in front of it, I noticed there were very few people while it's normally super crowded, and I realized how much I love Paris in the summer. You feel like the city is all yours, which is a dream.

Tell me, what piece of my collection do you like the most ? And do you like this look ?

---------------

  1. I'd love to buy a few pieces from your collection. It's so casual and cool, but at the same time very chic. Is there any possibility for people living abroad to purchase anything?
