First days in New York

New York City... I had dreamed of the moment I'd be back for years, ever since I went when I was 18. I can't believe I hadn't been here for almost a decade, and I'm so happy I got the opportunity to discover the city again !

A lot have changed in the past ten years of course, and I have changed too : for one, I have seen every episode of Sex and the City and Gossip Girl ever made, and it's almost as if I knew the city like my own.

I was always telling my boyfriend 'OMG that's where Carrie went with Mr Big', or 'that's where Chuck Bass lived !' (No judgement please...). But I believe this city is beyond everything I could have imagined. The energy is incredible, and I've realized why everyone says you can do anything in NYC.

To be honest, we've been talking about a possible move here, in a couple of years. I would love to experience living in the Big Apple for a least a year, and then maybe come back to Paris. But in the meantime, we had the best option beside having your own apartment here, and it was this beautiful, five star hotel that was both chic and very down to earth. The Quin Hotel, in Midtown, where we stayed the first two nights, was as lovely as I had hoped, and the breakfast was out of this world !

New York...
