Dubai was a dream… Honestly it was the best vacation we’ve had in a while !
The thing is, with Dubai, everyone has an opinion about the city : either you love it, or you hate it. As it was our first time, we had no idea what to expect… And we were so pleasantly surprised !
Dubai is like Disneyland, but for grown ups. The city is so clean, and the service everywhere we went was impeccable. I feel like there are always ten million things to do, and you could never get bored in this city.
But to be honest, the experience was so great, also because the hotel was out of this world. Maybe we wouldn’t have had the same feeling if we had not stayed at One and Only Royal Mirage, simply because One and Only Resorts are, trust me, the best hotels I ever experienced !
I went to their hotel in Mauritius, and the one in Dubai was even more incredible. The thing is, they think about every little detail. For instance, when we arrived in the suite, they had framed a picture of me and put it on the nightstand… I mean, who does that ?!
They had also booked us a spa day at the Guerlain spa (which is in their other hotel, One and Only the Palm), and we both literally feel asleep during the massage, because it was too good to resist.
So one day we just didn’t leave the hotel, despite everything Dubai has to offer, because we had to enjoy it before going back to Paris.
But we also made some trips to see the most iconic monuments of Dubai, one of which being the Burj Khalifa, where of course we had to go to the top floor (well, it’s not actually the top, but it’s as high as tourists can go).

Dubai a été un rêve… En fait, j’avais entendu beaucoup de choses sur Dubai, des choses positives, mais aussi négatives, et je ne savais pas à quoi m’attendre. Et en fait, j’ai juste a-do-ré !
C’est un peu un Disney géant, mais pour adultes. La ville est ultra propre, et le service, de l’aéroport, aux restaurants ou taxis, est impeccable. Il y a 1 million de choses à faire tout le temps, et vous ne pouvez pas vous y ennuyer.
Après, pour être honnête, je pense aussi que si l’expérience fut aussi géniale, c’est que notre hôtel le One and Only Royal Mirage était incroyable. En fait, je dois dire que les One and Only Resorts sont sans doute les meilleurs hôtels que l’on ait faits.
Par exemple, en arrivant dans la suite, ils avaient imprimé et encadré une de mes photos, et ils l’avaient posée sur la table de nuit… Franchement, qui fait ça ?! En fait, ils pensent à chaque détail, et on se sent bien.
Ils avaient également booké un soin au spa Guerlain, qui se trouve dans leur autre hôtel dubaïote, le One and Only the Palm, et mon mec et moi nous sommes endormis tellement on était relax ! Et pour être honnête, on est même restés une journée entière à l’hôtel sans sortir, juste pour profiter de la piscine et de ses restos 🙂
Je vous rassure, on a aussi visité la ville, notamment son monument le plus iconique, le Burj Khalifa, et le Dubai Mall.
